For its upcoming iOS rhythm game, a sequel to its four-month-old Miku Flick title.Vocaloid fans will be happy to read that popular Vocaloids Megurine Luka and Rin & Ren Kagamine will join Hatsune Miku on the Miku Flick 2 stage as new characters. They will have 'duet songs' (which feature multiple Vocaloids) and solo numbers, too.Sega has also added a new difficulty mode in Miku Flick 2, entitled Extreme. This mode is pitched somewhere between 's Hard and nigh-impossible Break the Limit difficulty settings.Miku Flick 2 will also offer you the chance to download new songs in DLC packages.
These songs will feature new seasonal costumes for the Vocaloids to wear.At what price Miku?Unfortunately, not all of the fresh news surrounding Miku Flick 2 is good. The game will only come pre-loaded with nine songs (levels) to play through, though you can unlock a bonus tenth song.In terms of raw level content, then, this means it contains three songs fewer than the original Miku Flick - this makes its $10.99 / £7.49 price tag a bit hard to swallow. Or, rather, it would do if it didn't pack so much of the aforementioned new content into its gameplay.Sega has not provided a release date for Miku Flick 2.
